Had the pleasure of serving the community of Gary Indiana food and supplies for those in need effected by storm damage and no power at Progressive Community Church
It was also an honor to give Bro. Rev. Curtis Whittaker his 35yr service award on site in mid duty. It was only befitting he received his award in front of the people he serves everyday. We are all very proud of his dedication and contribution to the citizens of Gary Indiana

Alpha Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. participated in the Tornado Victim Giveaway alongside District 7 NextGen, the NWI Inter-Greek Council, and Ross Township.

We wanted to make sure the $100 gift cards made it directly into the hands of families who were actually affected by the tornado, so we took to the streets and went into the neighborhoods. We pulled up on families while they were working on their homes and doing everything they could to get back home.

Many of these families are still displaced. Insurance companies are moving slowly, and families are having to take on much of the cleanup themselves. They shared their stories and showed us pictures of the damage they suffered. It was truly a humbling experience.

We want to thank Alpha Chi and the NWI Inter-Greek Council for showing up, putting in the work, and helping make a difference in the lives of these families.
