It is with heavy hearts that the Alpha Sigma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. announces the passing of our cherished Soror Edith Coleman, the eldest member of our beloved sisterhood.

Soror Edith’s life and legacy hold a special place in the history of Sigma Gamma Rho. As we honor her memory, we extend our heartfelt condolences, love, and support to her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

With profound sadness, the Alpha Sigma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. shares the passing of our beloved Soror Adrienne Woodson, daughter of Soror Adah Hull.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Soror Adrienne and extend our deepest love, sympathy, and condolences to her family, loved ones, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

The Alpha Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter, Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter, and Zeta Gamma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. are coming together to support communities impacted by devastating storms through our Storm Recovery Relief Initiative!

We’re collecting essential items to help provide comfort, care, and critical support to those in need. Every contribution makes a difference, and we invite YOU to be part of the movement! 💙💛

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation and the lives of countless families.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. pauses to remember the lives lost, honor the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who answered the call, and recognize the families and communities whose lives were forever changed.
As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, may we continue to lead with compassion, stand together in times of need, and strengthen our communities through service.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
