🌱🍉 Look what Carl found in the garden!

Our garden is still showing out! Carl pulled this beautiful watermelon, and we just had to capture the moment. There’s something special about seeing the fruits of the hard work, patience, and care that goes into our garden.

367.5 POUNDS! 🥜🍇💙

Our friends at ICL Hammond have done it again! They recently held a food drive benefiting the Sojourner Truth House Food Pantry and donated an incredible 367.5 pounds of peanut butter and jelly!

This marks their third food drive in support of our pantry, and we are so thankful for their continued generosity. Donations like these help us keep food on our shelves and continue serving individuals and families in our community.

To everyone at ICL Hammond who donated, organized, and helped make this possible—THANK YOU! Your continued support means so much to Sojourner Truth House and those we serve. 💙

A HUGE THANK YOU to every organization, business, donor, and volunteer who showed up for our Gary Aftermath Disaster Community Relief! 💚🩷

What started as a need in our community quickly became a beautiful example of what can happen when people come together with one purpose—to HELP. From donating essential and perishable items, giving financially, helping organize, carrying boxes, packing items, and serving our neighbors, every single person played a part.

To our sponsors and community partners, thank you for answering the call and stepping up when Gary needed you. To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time, energy, and helping hands. We could not have served our community without you!

This is what community looks like. ❤️

Together we restore. Together we rise.

With love and gratitude,
Sojourner Truth House 💚
