A special hometown moment in Gary, Indiana.

Returning to the city where it all began for the Jackson family always carries deep meaning. It’s here that Joe and Katherine Jackson raised their family and where the dream that would change music history first took shape.

Once more, we came together for a special hometown screening of Michael, celebrating both the film and the family legacy rooted in Gary.

Seeing Jaafar Jackson step into the role of his uncle Michael makes this moment even more powerful. Carrying the torch of the Jackson legacy, he brings Michael’s story to a new generation with talent, dedication and heart.🎬✨

In 1986, Powers & Sons Construction completed its first McDonald’s restaurant on Lake Street in Gary, Indiana—marking the start of a relationship that continues today. What began as a single opportunity has grown into a long-standing partnership built over time.

More than 30 years and 100+ projects later, our work with McDonald's reflects the power of strong relationships, consistency, and bringing one of the world’s most recognizable brands to life at the local level.
