We are proud to be a Safe Place, 💙

Every young person deserves a safe place to turn when they need help.

Safe Place provides immediate access to safety and support for youth facing challenges such as family conflict, homelessness, abuse, neglect, or other crises. Look for the yellow and black Safe Place sign at participating locations in your community.

When a young person reaches out, they don't have to face their situation alone.

Crisis Center is honored to receive Strengthening Youth Programs in Indiana (SYPI) initiative funding through Indiana Youth Institute.

This support will help us sustain our programs, strengthen our organization, and deepen our impact for the young people and families we serve. We’re grateful to IYI for investing in youth-serving organizations across Indiana and helping young people thrive. 💙

The Crisis Center is offering a FREE Grief Support Group for the Gary Community for individuals seeking support, connection, and healing after the loss of a loved one.

Whether your loss is recent or you've been carrying grief for some time, this group provides a safe and supportive space to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and connect with others who understand.

Today, the Crisis Center joined the Out of the Darkness Walk hosted by the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention- Indiana Chapter to stand together for su***de prevention, awareness, and hope.

Every step we take is a reminder that no one should have to face a crisis alone. We walk for those we have lost, for those who are struggling, for survivors, and for everyone working to bring hope and healing to our communities.
