Today, we celebrate the graduates of the Adult Learning & Training Centers' English Language Learning (ELL) and Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs! 🎓

Their success reflects not only their hard work and determination, but also the support of dedicated instructors, family members, and community partners who help make these achievements possible.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Crown Point Library for its continued partnership and commitment to expanding access to adult education opportunities throughout Northwest Indiana. We are also grateful to our instructors and the families who encouraged and supported these learners every step of the way.

Congratulations to our graduates on this important milestone. We look forward to seeing all they accomplish next.

We're excited to see Ivy Tech Community College: Valparaiso / Michigan City / La Porte was recently recognized for its innovative approach to workforce preparation during a recent visit by Indiana Gov. Mike Braun. As highlighted in this article from the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper, the college continues to serve as a leader in helping students gain the skills and training needed to succeed in today's workforce.

At CWI, we're proud to partner with educators, employers, and community organizations across Northwest Indiana to strengthen the region's talent pipeline and create pathways to high-demand careers.

Congratulations to the Ivy Tech team on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for your continued commitment to preparing the workforce of tomorrow.

Through the Work Experience (WEX) Program, Northwest Indiana employers can help young people gain real-world experience while strengthening their own talent pipeline. Participants can work up to 320 hours, with WorkOne Northwest Indiana and Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc. covering wages, payroll taxes, and workers’ compensation. It’s a practical way to invest in future talent—without adding financial burden to your organization.

Teachers help shape the future workforce long before students enter the workforce itself.

This week, we’re recognizing the educators, instructors, counselors, and mentors who help students and learners across northwest Indiana build confidence, discover opportunities, and prepare for success in school, work, and life.

At Center of Workforce Innovations, we know strong communities and strong economies begin with people who are willing to invest in others every single day. Thank you to all the educators making a lasting impact throughout our region.
