TODAY, we’re asking our community to help us fill the room with essentials for local families recovering from the recent storms.

Have an extra pack of diapers? Grabbed an extra case of water? Can you spare toiletries, paper products, or household necessities? Bring it by!

📚 No Power? Learning Can Still Happen!
After these storms, we know many families are still dealing with power outages and children being out of school.

Here are a few screen-free, no-electricity activities to keep kids learning AND entertained at home:

🔎 Indoor Scavenger Hunt — Find something that starts with each letter of the alphabet.

✏️ Create Your Own Story — Have your child write or draw a story and present it to the family.

🧮 Kitchen Math — Practice fractions and measurements while making a snack or simple meal.

📖 Family Reading Time — Take turns reading aloud or have older siblings read to younger ones.

Learning doesn't always require a classroom, Wi-Fi or a screen. 💜💙

Hang in there, families. We're looking forward to seeing our students get back into their routines soon!

Greater Together Family Network and HOME Mentoring & Tutoring are coming together to support families affected by the recent storms.

We’re asking our families, community partners, churches, local businesses, and others who have not been affected and would like to help to donate essential items.
