A PRESIDENTIAL MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE
On behalf of the Epsilon Zeta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make our Sigma Day of Service a powerful success.
This day represented more than service—it demonstrated the strength of brotherhood, partnership, leadership, and our shared commitment to uplifting the community. When we unite around a common purpose, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
We were honored to receive the support of our fraternity dignitaries and leaders:
International President, Honorable Bro. David Turner
Great Lakes Regional First Vice, Bro. Dr. Arthur Davis
Great Lakes Regional Social Action Director, Bro. Karl Nichols
Indiana State Director, Bro. Dr. Antoine Jenkins
Illinois State Director, Bro. Malcom Whiteside
Bro. Charles Talbert
Our Illinois and Michigan brothers
Every brother who traveled from near and far to stand with us in service
Special appreciation goes to the brothers of Kappa Theta Sigma Chapter, Xi Sigma Chapter, Nu Upsilon Sigma Chapter and Pi Psi Sigma Chapter. Your support, generous donations, and willingness to put your hands to work on the ground helped make this day a tremendous success. Your presence demonstrated the true meaning of brotherhood, unity, and service. We are sincerely grateful for each of you.
A very special salute goes to Indiana Social Action Champion Bro. Demetrice Hicks. Your hard work, sacrifice, planning, and dedication were instrumental in making this day possible. We sincerely thank you for answering the call to serve.
We also extend our deepest appreciation to our Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs, Walmart, The Salvation Army, and the many community members, volunteers, organizations, and supporters who contributed their time, resources, and energy.
If I have unintentionally missed anyone, please do not charge it to my heart. Know that your presence, generosity, and service were seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.
Our work does not end with one successful day. Epsilon Zeta Sigma will continue to serve, lead, advocate, and stand with the people of our community. We are committed to being visible, dependable, and intentional as we work to create lasting change.
This is what brotherhood looks like.
This is what service looks like.
This is how we lead.
With sincere gratitude,
Bro. Jerome Nichols
