Shout out to our amazing Girl Scouts who absolutely ROCKED the Juneteenth Parade today! Your energy, smiles, and spirit lit up the route and made us so proud. Thank you to all the girls, families, and volunteers who made this day a success. Happy Juneteenth!

Freedom Day Girlscouts!

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a powerful reminder of delayed justice and the ongoing fight for freedom.

On June 19, 1865, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom. Juneteenth marks that moment in history and continues to symbolize both celebration and the continued pursuit of equality.

As Girl Scouts, we uplift voices, educate ourselves about injustices, and work together to create spaces where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and equality.

Girl Scouts: More Than Just Cookies!

This weekend, our Girl Scouts had an unforgettable Sleepover Pool Party as a special reward for those who attended our last meeting! Being a Girl Scout is about more than just selling cookies—it’s about building friendships, growing as leaders, and creating lasting memories.

From splashing in the pool to late-night laughs, our girls are strengthening bonds and learning the value of teamwork and sisterhood. We are so proud of their dedication and can’t wait for more amazing experiences together!

This week, Girl Scouts Troop 35697 did more than just sell cookies—we embraced our mission of community outreach. We were proud to deliver Thanksgiving baskets, including a ham or turkey, to 9 families and 2 local shelters. Thanksgiving isn’t just about food—it’s about gratitude. A huge thank you to Aspire Charter Academy, as the troop couldn’t have done it without your support!💪🏾
