Our Urban League of Northwest Indiana Young Professionals proudly volunteered alongside the Black Labor Week Project and the Gary Common Council for their Juneteenth Celebration at Roosevelt Pavilion. It was an honor to support an event that celebrates freedom, culture, community, and service.

A special thank you to all of our YP members who showed up, worked hard, and represented our organization with excellence. Your dedication, commitment, and willingness to serve continue to make a positive impact throughout our community.

The Young Professionals were outside and making an impact last Saturday! 💪🏾🌟

3 Service Projects in 1 Day! 🎉🎉

Our members proudly joined the City of Gary for the Community Cleanup and Downtown Marketplace, helping to beautify our city while supporting local businesses and community engagement. We also laced up our walking shoes and participated in the Sojourner Truth House Walk, showing our commitment to service, health, and supporting organizations that make a difference in Northwest Indiana.

Service is one of the core pillars of our organization, and we’re proud to continue showing up for our community. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to help make Gary stronger, cleaner, and more connected.
