October is breast cancer awareness month

1 in 8 women.
That’s not just a number.
That’s your mom.
Your sister.
Your grandma.
Your aunt.
Your best friend.

Every 2 minutes, a woman hears the words,
“You have breast cancer.”
And every 13 minutes, a family loses someone they love to it.

It’s not about saving the b***s.
It’s about saving the woman.
The one who holds her kids.
The one who makes the family feel safe.
The one who is someone’s everything.

Prevention matters.
Exercise. Eat healthy.
Get your annual mammogram.
Know the risks.

Because breast cancer doesn’t just affect one person.
It breaks open an entire family.
And too many families have already felt that pain.

This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
don’t just wear pink.

🩵September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month🩵

Did you know that up to 25% of ovarian cancers are linked to inherited gene mutations—most commonly BRCA1 and BRCA2?

This Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, we’re joining forces with National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Fight4 Life and Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance to shine a light on the hereditary risk factors that too often go undetected. Knowing your family history and getting genetic testing, when appropriate, can be lifesaving.

Inherited gene mutations like ATM, BRCA1, BRCA2, BRIP1, EPCAM, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PALB2, PTEN, RAD51C, RAD51D and others* increase ovarian cancer risk and can impact entire families. By raising awareness and promoting genetic testing, we empower individuals to make informed decisions for themselves and their loved ones.

🔍 Early detection increases awareness and knowledge is power.
🧬 If ovarian cancer runs in your family, genetic counseling and testing can help you understand your risks and take action.

Together, we're advocating for:
✅ Greater awareness of hereditary ovarian cancer
