Yesterday we hosted our 3rd Annual Youth Hunt!

We had a total of 5 kids come out and experience the hunt in a safe, controlled environment and do a bit of trap shooting in between.

Thank you to Myers Meats & Specialties, Turtle Lake Wildlife Club, Runnings of Minot, North Dakota Game and Fish Department, Highway 83 Lawn & Leisure the Sakakawea Fence Stretchers, and, of course, Gordy Nord, who allows us to use his land for events like these.

Mallard Island: One of North Dakota's most unique public hunting landscapes.

Our chapter had the opportunity to partner up with ND Game and Fish Department to eliminate invasive Siberian Elms in the prairie habitat.

Using the "hack and sq**rt" method we treated countless non-native Siberian Elms.

We are just days away from ana amazing habitat proejct!! We will be pairing with ND Game and Fish to help remove woody encroachment on one of the most sought after public hunting spots in the state.

Join our chapter and many others at Mallard Island. We will be taking off from the Wolf Creek boat ramp at 9 a.m. on Saturday August 1st. Please bring bug spray, work gloves, and hatchets.

Water will be provided but we also encourage you to bring your own as temps will be hitting the 90's.
