There’s no place like…TRUNK OR TREAT!

Bethel Township Parks & Recreation is excited to join the Bethel Springs HSA's Trunk or Treat again this year.

📅 Friday, 10/23 (POSTPONED FROM 10/16)
⏰ 6:00pm–8:00pm
📍 Bethel Springs Elementary School (3280 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley)
🎟️ This event is limited to Bethel Springs families, and registration is required through the HSA to attend.

Last year, we followed the Yellow Brick Road to Oz 🌈…but this year, we're "branching" out! Come check out what we've got growing! 🌳

Beautiful weather, a steady stream of visitors, and plenty of fun made Saturday's America 250 Freedom Fleet Showcase at Concord Township Park a great success! ☀ 🇺🇸

As we continue to celebrate America's 250th birthday, what better way to recognize the milestone than by showcasing the organizations and essential services that have helped build, protect, and strengthen our communities throughout our nation's history? From public safety and emergency services to public works and beyond, these are the people and organizations that help keep our communities moving forward.

Families enjoyed exploring an impressive lineup of vehicles at our Touch-a-Truck showcase, featuring organizations from across Delaware County, along with delicious food trucks, live music, line dancing, and some amazing balloon artistry!

A huge THANK YOU to Concord Township, Concord Township Parks & Recreation, Bethel Township, Bethel Township Parks & Recreation, and the Bethel Township Highway Department for helping make this collaborative event possible!

A little throwback post to wrap up Bethel Parks and Rec's fourth and final Yoga in the Park of the summer! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to bring this year’s series to an end, stretching, relaxing, and enjoying last Monday evening together at John Adkinson Park. (And the only evening of the series when it didn't threaten to storm!)

A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteer instructor, Cathy Spahr of YogaSix, for generously sharing her time, love of yoga, and even scented cooling towels with our community throughout the entire series! Cathy led all four sessions this summer, creating a welcoming experience for everyone from first-timers to seasoned participants. We are so grateful for everything she did to make Yoga in the Park such a success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer! We loved seeing familiar faces return each session and new faces give it a try.

544 BOOKS COLLECTED! ❤️📚

Our community has blown us away with the generosity and support shown during our recent Book Drive!

Bethel Township Parks & Recreation Student Ambassador has been working on an incredible initiative to bring Little Free Libraries to our parks, with the help of our amazing Highway Department. These libraries will give residents of all ages the opportunity to take a book, leave a book, and discover something new right here in our parks. 🌳

We asked our residents to donate their gently used, good condition books to help fill these new libraries, and you exceeded our expectations with a total of 544 Books collected. 😆

📚 As the Little Free Libraries begin to run low, our Student Ambassador will help refill them to keep the books circulating throughout our parks.

Any remaining books from our drive will be donated to the Rachel Kohl Community Library, making sure that your generosity continues to make an impact beyond our parks.
