On Saturday, July 18th — experience Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, Psycho, like never before: on the side of a building in Dye Works Square at GARNER Arts Center! Celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Edward Hopper House and the 25th anniversary of Rivertown Film, by watching a film together under the stars and on the banks of the Minisceongo Creek.

…But why Psycho? Hitchcock credits Edward Hopper’s painting, House by the Railroad, as the inspiration for this film. Meanwhile, this Hopper painting was influenced by a house you can STILL see on 9W in Haverstraw, on your way from his childhood home to the GARNER Arts Center!
