Our Purpose
Youth Of Unity is a 501 c(3) Non-profit organization that is devoted to the personal development of youth in the community. Our purpose is to improve the quality of life in the youth of the community. We also purpose to help youth of all backgrounds, with special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders through education and recreational activities.
The I AM BEAUTIFUL Empowerment Girls Conference is one of many programs that Youth of Unity offer to girls of all age. Girls often times get lost in their surroundings and forget that God has created them to be Beautiful inside and out. Unfortunately, they feel that being who God has made them to be is not the “cool” way to be, so the only way they can be accepted is by doing what other’s do, whether it is right or wrong. This Conference is organized to empower our young ladies to accept themselves and to love themselves no matter what their peers or others think or has to say about them. This Conference is also organized to give these young ladies a fun an exciting day with others that are dealing with the same life situation.
