At Camp OASIS, our Academic Enrichment component is not just about what happens in the classroom, but also the hands on experiences that we are able to expose our children to. After a discussion about yesterday's Lobby Day, our children were able to fully understand and embrace READ IN:SPEAK OUT! We are truly grateful to Diane Taylor and Red, Wine & Blue for the invitation, free books and the sponsored lunch! Y'all are the REAL MVP's!!!

BUT THE BIBLE SAYS....He'll never give you the vision, without the provision. THE BIBLE SAYS....To whom much is given, much is required. THE BIBLE SAYS..... Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
And today here we are, O.A.S.I.S. Foundation of NC celebrates 20 YEARS of service to over 18,000 children and their families all throughout the state of North Carolina!

In all transparency, these last few years have been, by far, some of the most challenging years of my life! Personally and professionally. BUT GOD!!!!! He continues to show up, show out and remind me that despite how it looks His plan for me is far greater than my plan for myself! You see, I've learned that there's a difference between FACT and TRUTH. The facts may be that OASIS has been on the verge of closing its doors several times over the years. The facts may be that I've stressed, worried and cried myself to sleep many nights overwhelmed with what has felt like I was in the middle of a full fledge tsunami. BUT THE TRUTH IS.....I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! THE TRUTH IS.... O.A.S.I.S BELONGS TO HIM, I'M SIMPLY THE VESSEL HE'S CHOSEN TO FACILITATE IT AND WE WILL NOT FAIL! THE TRUTH IS....HE WILL NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE ME. THE TRUTH IS.....I CAN DO ALLLLL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!!!

I am and to be . I pray that He continues to guide my steps and use me as a vessel for His will to be done.

With our Back to School Bash coming up this Saturday, August 9th, we are need of some last minute supplies. We have OVER 800 students registered that need our help to make their educational dreams come true. We are holding a Hotdog, Hamburger, and Hydration Fundraiser, all proceeds go towards supplying food for our students and families participating in this grand event. With that we are seeking individuals and or businesses that are willing to donate towards our fundraiser whether it is monetary or food donations, ever bit counts for our local Raleigh students. We want to give a big shout out & thank you to Garner United Methodist Church for making this back to school event possible.
