We are delighted to introduce Mary J. Gentry, a dedicated advocate and member of the Building Dreams with Faith and Grace Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.

Originally from New Jersey and now calling Wake County, North Carolina, home, Mary has devoted over 30 years to advocacy and volunteer service. Her incredible journey is rooted in her unwavering belief in giving back to the community, whether by mentoring under-represented youth, supporting senior citizens, or amplifying the voices of those in need.

Her extensive experience includes:

Serving as a Patient and Family Advisory Council Member and Guest Ambassador.

Leadership roles in One Wake’s Strategy Team and the Board Advisory Council.

Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Wake County
Board of Elections, and local PTAs.

Fellow at the North Carolina Political Leadership Institute.

Mary's philosophy, "better not bitter," drives her commitment to creating opportunities and providing resources for those she serves. Her work embodies the spirit of compassion and resilience, inspiring all of us to strive for meaningful change.

With over 20 years of experience, Oyindamola “Mola” Ijewere is a dynamic force in business strategy and social entrepreneurship. As Senior Client Services Manager at Project Equity, she champions employee ownership, advancing sustainability, job creation, and financial stability.

As Executive Director of Apex Solutions Foundation, Mola leads international workforce development initiatives, empowering marginalized communities and driving economic inclusion. Her work has supported over 100 organizations in Nigeria, influenced thousands globally through research and training, and guided 500+ youths with her book on safety and migration.

A lifelong learner, Mola holds degrees in Applied Mathematics, an MBA in Finance, and is pursuing a DBA. Her vision is clear: to be a global leader driving equity and bridging societal gaps.

Celebrating Teneshia Rollins: A Visionary Leader in Design and Empowerment

We are proud to introduce Teneshia Rollins, a member of the Building Dreams with Faith and Grace Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.

Hailing from Chicago/Broadview, Illinois, Teneshia is an Interior Designer and Construction Project Manager with over 20 years of experience leading projects across the U.S., including Illinois, Georgia, and North Carolina. Her exceptional contributions include renovating high-rises in downtown Chicago, commercial spaces like daycares and medical offices, and a community college in North Carolina. Her project portfolio boasts a remarkable $533.4 million in completed works, earning her the title of Designer of the Year three years in a row (2016–2019).

But Teneshia’s expertise goes beyond design. She is a life coach and motivational speaker dedicated to helping individuals "build" their best lives. Drawing from her own experiences with challenges such as childhood trauma and single parenting, Teneshia empowers others to set boundaries, find direction, and achieve their dreams.

As the founder of RBG Group Design and Build, Teneshia offers services in renovations, home staging, and custom furniture design. She is also launching a home décor line. Through her company, Kattie’s Cleaning Krew, she is developing a non-profit initiative to provide second chances for individuals with judicial system encounters, helping them explore careers in construction, real estate, and trades.

Teneshia holds a B.A. in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design and an Architectural Imagination Certificate from Harvard University. Her passion for community impact and personal growth fuels her mission to create lasting legacies for her family and community.

Welcoming Larry Deaver to Our Board of Directors

It’s an honor to introduce Larry Deaver, a valued member of the Building Dreams with Faith and Grace Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.

Larry brings a wealth of expertise and leadership gained over his 40+ years with Huntington Ingalls Industries, where he currently serves as Superintendent of Production Workforce for the Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier program. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Executive Management program at the College of William and Mary, and he holds an MBA from Strayer University.

Larry’s impressive background includes numerous awards and certifications, such as the Model of Excellence and Buster Award at Newport News Shipbuilding. He is an active community leader, serving as a Deacon since 2013 and a graduate of the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Lead Peninsula program.

We’re thrilled to have Larry’s dedication and expertise contributing to our mission of empowering communities and fostering change.

We are proud to introduce Felicia Etheridge-Garcia, the Secretary of Building Dreams with Faith and Grace Foundation, Inc. With an impressive 35 years of administrative experience, Felicia is a vital asset to our leadership team.

Felicia has a distinguished history of providing technical and logistical support for special projects and serving as the primary liaison with external offices. Her journey into the nonprofit world began with AmeriCorps, where she served as an Administrative Assistant and later advanced to the role of Mentor Coordinator. During this time, Felicia gained invaluable experience in grant writing and program coordination, solidifying her passion for community development.

Her commitment to supporting underserved communities and her expertise in nonprofit administration make her an exceptional member of our board.
