THANK YOU, COMMUNITY.

Following our most recent DI4W 100K Celebration, we wanted to take the time to say thank you to everyone who makes our events and fundraisers possible.

To everyone who attends, volunteers, sponsors, donates, shares our mission, shows up, lends a helping hand, and contributes in countless ways — we are deeply grateful.
Your generosity, time, and commitment help bring our work to life and allow us to continue investing in North Carolina students through scholarships, mentorship, and opportunities beyond the scholarship.

Every contribution matters. Every act of support makes a difference. And we’re incredibly thankful to have a community that believes in what we’re building.

Thank you for being part of Do It 4 W.

THIS IS THE IMPACT.

A scholarship is more than financial support. It’s an opportunity. It’s encouragement. It’s someone saying, “I believe in you and what you’re capable of.”

For our scholars, that support can help open doors to college, new opportunities, and the future they’ve been working toward. And for the families and supporters who have been part of their journeys, it’s a reminder of why investing in students matters.

We asked some of our scholarship recipients, family members, and supporters to share what this scholarship — and Do It 4 W — has meant to them.

Their words say it best. 🎓💙

This is why we do what we do.

This is what it means to go Beyond the Scholarship.

Why does this celebration matter? Because behind every scholarship is a student with a story, a dream, and a future worth investing in.

Meet Hugh Sproul, a 2026 Do It 4 W scholarship recipient. In this video, Hugh shares a little about himself, his goals, and the impact that receiving a Do It 4 W scholarship has had on his journey.

As we prepare to celebrate $100,000+ in scholarships awarded to North Carolina students, we’re reminded that this milestone isn’t just about a number. It’s about the students who are able to take another step toward their goals because a community chose to invest in them.

Your support makes these moments possible — and it allows us to continue building relationships and opportunities that go beyond the scholarship.

🎓 Hear directly from Hugh about what this support means to him, and join us in celebrating the students at the heart of our mission.
