Latter Glory Christian School
Were excited to share about two amazing opportunities this school has right now, and they need your help!
First, the local district leaders approved the school to add Nursery classes (3 yr old) yo Primary 3 classes to the school, which is a great testimony to the school’s success! There is a cost to be licensed and approved however.

Second, power is being laid through the village by the school, and there is an opportunity for the school to receive power, which would allow the students and teachers to have electricity. There’s also a cost associated with having the school wired and everything connected correctly and permitted.

The total cost for both of these is $4000, and we are believing that God will help us to raise the funds, elevating Latter Glory Christian School to the next level in its ability to serve the community. Already, the Gospel has gone forth as the teachers and administrators are nurturing the students academically, as well as spiritually.

As we prepared to leave Uganda, our team spent a final few hours at Hummingbird House with the girls-they presented a fashion show, and then our team presented journals to each girls and prayed over them, encouraging them to seek God’s best for their lives. We ended our time with some dancing, and can’t wait to see all that God has planned for their futures!

Many of the Uganda 2025 team enjoyed a few hours of white water rafting on the Nile, as we visited the town of Jinja. What a great time of bonding as a team!

Our team was able to stop by and spend a few minutes once again at Latter Glory Christian School in Mende, and and .mcclay were able to visit the location and community they have been a part of supporting over the past years. The students were excited to see us once again, and we all shared some praise and worship time. We are overwhelmed by God’s goodness as we see this amazing school finally become a reality-we believe it is a lighthouse that will shine the love of God throughout Mende!

Medical outreach day part two-God was at work all around us, and through each team member. Continual prayer, games and stories with the children, ultrasounds for expecting moms with Dr. Emma and Dr. John McClay, worship and testimonies…love poured out. The kindness of Jesus manifested.

Several of the single moms in the “Glorious Ladies” ministry received food to help them care for their families. These women meet regularly for Bible study, prayer, and vocational skills training. Thank you to those who support this ministry!

Medical Outreach day with Latter Glory Medical Clinic!
The clinic has recently moved yo a new location and the building is being completed, so the screening and medication distribution were set up on the lawn of a nearby home. The day was beautiful, and our team received an introduction to the history of the clinic, and then joined waiting patients to worship and pray. Latter Glory has been serving this community (Bbanda) since 2018, focused on prenatal care and counseling for pregnant women, encouraging those considering abortion to choose life for their child. The clinic also provides basic medical care for those in need, regardless of their ability to pay.
As patients waited, every person met with one of our team to receive prayer and hear about God’s love for them through his son Jesus. Over 20 individuals prayed to accept Christ as their Savior!

Our Sunday in Uganda started off with church and the worship was amazing! The team visited “Hummingbird House” in the afternoon, the transitional home for girls through African Hearts. It was the first of two visits, and we were blessed by these bright young women who have been through so much in their young lives. Another amazing day!

In the afternoon our team spent time in classrooms with students, sharing Bible stories and encouraging them to continue their hard work. The team then joined the students and the African Hearts band to promote the dedication ceremony planned for later that day.

School Director .cathy.5 and .steve prayed over the school and its role in the community, the staff were introduced, and several local leaders spoke about the positive impact of Latter Glory, now and for the future. Truly a beautiful day celebrating God’s faithfulness!!

Our visit to Latter Glory Christian School began with greetings, worship, scripture, and then joining the students for “PE games”-maybe our favorite part! These children came to their school on a Saturday to proudly tour us and show us how they are learning about about academics as well as God’s Word. We are excited to see this new school flourish!
