Garland Ridge Runners Muzzleloader Club Inc This is a Muzzle loader Club. That uses its facility for competition using Patch, Round ball, Black Powder. This organization shall be non-profit.

We hold sacred the heritage and tradition entrusted to us by our forefathers in preserving the use of long ri**es. Therefore, the purpose of this organization shall be to encourage and develop interest and facilities for muzzle loading shooting. It shall be the aim of its members to become proficient in the use of muzzle loading weapons for all legal purposes. Furthermore, the purpose of this organization is to encourage and sponsor educational programs designed to inform our members and citizens in the safe handling and safe use of muzzle loading weapons, to oppose any amendment or act of legislature that may deprive a law abiding citizen the right to possess, own or bear fi****ms in accord with the Constitution of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Sept monthly match is this Saturday 9/26/2026 at 10 am. We will be there most of the day. So want to join in on the fun. Bring your Muzzleloaders. Or just want to watch and learn. We please all.

This Saturday 8/29/ we will be having our monthly match. 9 am is meeting and shooting starts at 10 am. Come on down to shoot, watch, ask questions. Garland Ridge Runners Muzzleloader Club Inc. 1st Annual Duck Race

Join us on Saturday, August 8 at Island Park in Youngsville for our 1st Annual Duck Race!

We have 500 ducks available:

1 duck for $5

6 ducks for $25

Ducks will be sold at the event until all 500 are gone. Each duck has a unique number on the bottom.

Prizes are based on total duck sales:

1st Place: 10% of total duck sales

2nd Place: 7% of total duck sales

3rd Place: 5% of total duck sales

The more ducks we sell, the higher the winnings!

Event Schedule

11:00 AM: Event begins and duck sales continue

1:00 PM: Duck race begins (release)

Enjoy a FREE picnic, rip tickets, and basket raffles throughout the event.

Just a reminder, we will not be holding a match this month in July due to we will be at the Northeastern Primitive Rendezvous NEPR July 25th- Aug 1st public Days are July 26th - July 30th th

Also Remember our 1st Annual Duck race held ay Island Park Youngsville Pa. . Is you want in on the chance to win you can purchase your ducks at Spendless Discount Store in North Warren . Or any member of the club . If you need to get a hold of me and I will get you taken care of.
They are $5.00 each or 6 for $25.00 . The more sold, the bigger the payout. We will be paying out 3 places on a percentage of $$$ sold.

Our June and July matches will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. A club meeting will take place Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Camping is welcome.
July 10–11
Jefferson County Long Ri**es 50th Rendezvous.
July 18–19
Upper Allegany Muzzleloader Club Rendezvous at Brokenstraw Fish and Game.
July 25 – August 1
Northeastern Primitive Rendezvous. Pre-registration ends July 6. For more information, visit the 2026 Northeastern Primitive Rendezvous page or contact Bonnie Curry at 814-688-4021. I am serving as Booshway. Public Days are July 26–30 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to walk throughout the camp.

For this monthly match. We will be have a 2 day match Saturday June 27th and Sunday 28th. The is due to there will be no matches in July. You can complete both months in one weekend. If you want to camp. You are able to do that as well.

For those that came to our 20th Annual Rendezvous and had to deal with the rain and mud. We are happy to tell you all, we did some improvements to the range this weekend. Here are before pictures and after.

Amending for tomorrow's Monday 25th we have the Range open till 2:00pm. Due to the weather. Please come out and join us.

Come on and join our 20th Annial Rendezvous. Memorial Day weekend. May 23rd -25th . Saturday and Sunday ranges will be open from 9am -5 pm. Sat at 6 will be Monday ranges from 9am - 12 noon. Scores tallied and prizes approx 130 ish. Sunday eve camp feast . Club supplies meat. Bring a dish to pass. We match R***e, SB,and Pistol. For those that need assistance hold gun, a stick (not provided please bring your own) for your Paper your own class. We have a Mt Man course and then last but not least a steel sw***er course. MENS, WOMENS, JR'S then YOUTH (2yrs - 12 yrs. Match for Free.
