Mikko is such a delight and only three years old. This happy-go-lucky young man thrives on closeness and loves nothing more than snuggling up with his foster mom, whether on the couch or in bed. If that's not an option, you can find him happily stationed at your feet. Mikko is making great strides in his training, eagerly learning to resist the temptation to chase the resident cat and is already about 95% there! Meet Bonnet, affectionately known as Bonnie! 🎉 This adorable 6-month-old female Pomeranian weighs in at a delightful 6.5 lbs. 🐶 Bonnie is the epitome of fun and playfulness, with a goofy personality that will steal your heart! 💕

Bonnie gets along wonderfully with other dogs 🐕 and loves to run and play, often engaging in her own little adventures. 🌟 While she can be a bit possessive of d it her toys during playtime, a gentle reminder of "Bonnie" brings her back to her sweet self. 💖 She loves to play the "you can't catch me" game, and with some tasty treats, we believe she can easily learn to be too come to you instead! ✨

💕North Texas Gives to Animals ends this weekend and we’re so appreciative of the donations we’ve received! You are the best!

💗Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference. We would love the gift of your time and talents! Recycled Poms is an all volunteer 501(c)3 rescue and relies on the passionate pom lovers that help us! We have a variety of needs - most local but there are opportunities for long distance too.

🏡Foster - can be long term or short term, we provide any supplies needed and vetting - you provide the love! We match you up with a dog that fits your household and you are never stuck with a dog. So that they get exposure, we just ask that you share updates with us and come to events when possible.

🐶Event volunteer - different opportunities in the Dallas Fort Worth area, at adoption events where you hold, walk, love on and answer questions about the dogs.

🚗Transport - help us get dogs from owners, shelters, or get them from intake to fosters or to vets. We have a texting system so we just put out a text and if you are available you can respond. Most are in the DFW area, but sometimes it's a little further drive.

💲Fundraising - we would love to have some fundraising help - new ideas and help putting them in place.

🤩Influencers - do you have a a big following on social media? We'd love for you to share the rescue so more people learn about these precious poms!

📢Marketing - got ideas on how to reach more people with fun swag or social media? Let's hear it and make it happen!

We are reaching out for special help today. Two German Shepherds were rescued from Melissa’s devastating house fire and need a safe foster home.

Being a Pomeranian rescue, taking in large breed dogs is very out of the ordinary for us — but we could not turn our backs on them during this tragedy.

These sweet dogs have already been through so much and deserve a calm, loving place to decompress while we help figure out their next steps.

Because they are not Poms, we are especially in need of someone experienced with large dogs who can offer temporary foster care.

If you can help foster, or know someone who can, please message us as soon as possible. Even sharing this post could help these sweet dogs find safety and comfort after such a heartbreaking event.

Thank you for always stepping up when animals need us most.
