Had a brave volunteer yesterday to hold the camera while I worked bees! He was so fascinated and in complete awe of our little fuzzy butt friends!
We checked for mites, queen cells and just overall health of the hives. These were both swarms that were rescued this spring, one is strong and one I will attempt to supplement feed thru the winter based on their size and progress so far this season!
It was the perfect day for it!
