Let’s be clear, every day should be an appreciation day for these amazing women!!

But, today we want to recognize the incredible veterinarians who work tirelessly to care for Wilson Zoo cats and countless others!

At Wilson Zoo Cat Rescue, we see firsthand the compassion, dedication, and long hours that go into saving lives. From routine wellness exams and spay/neuter surgeries to emergency procedures and end-of-life care, our veterinary partners are there with us every step of the way.

They celebrate the victories with us, help us through the heartbreaks, and give countless cats a second chance at life.

We have been a lot quieter on Facebook recently.

Along with the rebuild of our Cat space and our normal busy day-to-day rescue work, we have been mourning the loss of several precious family pets.

Muffin aka Mafia

Over night, we had another very sudden very hard loss.

Our sweet Shepherd Angel.

As we have been and will probably continue to be behind on messages and emails and posts, we ask for patience and understanding while we continue to process all of the loss.

As avid animal lovers, I know that our dedicated crew understands this pain.

We are still here. We are still saving and caring for the cats that need us…. We may just be moving a little slower.

Please hug all your furrbabies a little tighter tonight.
