Gone but never forgotten. Thank you for all memories and laughs Millie and Mikey🩷💙

Thank you to our entire community for coming together. The City of Garfield truly is family. Thank you too Garfield Parks and Recreation Department for putting together a beautiful event and tribute for our kids.🫶

Fly High🪽 & Long Live Millie✨

GCC wants to extend our deepest gratitude to all those that gave us their condolences. We would like to especially thank our friends in the cheer community. You have truly proved that we are more than just competitors, and off the mat we’re family.💕

To all those that may be able to attend, a candlelight vigil will be held on Thursday, August 6th to honor Mikey and Millie. We would love to see you there.🩷💙

Never in a million years did we ever think in the history of GCC this would be a post we’d make. On Wednesday, July 29th the City of Garfield suffered a tragedy. It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that Garfield Competition Cheerleading is mourning the loss of one of our own.

Milian was an athlete on our Season 3 Junior Reign team. When Milian was on Junior Reign she was an effortless tumbler and an amazing performer. A little fire cracker that did nothing but try her best for her coaches and her team. Above all of that she was a friend and a team mate. During the best performances and even the rough ones Milian was always someone who was smiling and finding the positives. She was truly irreplaceable.💕

Milian we will miss you and you’ll be forever with us on and off the mat. Once a Garfield Competition Cheerleader, always a Garfield Competition Cheerleader. And just like you always sang now, you are our diamond in the sky. SIP baby girl.🪽✨

Please keep her family, friends and community in your thoughts and prayers. If anyone wishes to donate or has the ability to share please see the link for the GoFundMe below. (The link will also be in our bio.)
