New Class Beginning Tomorrow!

We are excited to welcome TRX Suspension Training with Brenda Fisher to the Douglas County Community & Senior Center.

TRX is a full-body workout that uses suspension straps and body weight to help improve strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and core stability. This class is designed to be challenging, supportive, and a great option for anyone looking to try something new.

Classes are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays:

6:00–7:00 AM
7:00–8:00 AM

The first class is free, and all other classes are $10 per class. Space is limited to 8 participants per class.

Instructor: Brenda Fisher
Certified TRX and ACE Certified Personal Trainer

Come try TRX and see what it’s all about.

📢 Community Center Notice

Due to road closures for the Carson Valley Days Parade, the Douglas County Community & Senior Center will have a delayed opening on Saturday, June 13.

The Community Center will open at 12:00 PM and close at its regular time of 4:00 PM.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in the afternoon. Thank you for your patience as we support this community event!

Today we joined forces with the Aktion Club for their 2nd Annual Walk, and what an incredible day it was! We were so excited to see such an amazing turnout from our community, all coming together to support the wonderful members of the Aktion Club.

Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered us on, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. The support, smiles, and community spirit on display today were truly inspiring. We are proud to be part of a community that shows up and supports one another!

We can’t wait to do it again next year!
