⚾️ GOOD LUCK, C**T! ⚾️

Congratulations to C**t Knittel, who won the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run local competition in the 13–14-year-old baseball division and is headed to Sacramento to represent Carson Valley!

On September 12, C**t will compete in the A’s Pitch, Hit & Run Team Championship at Sutter Health Park, just before the A’s take on the Seattle Mariners. 💚💛

More than 40,000 kids nationwide participate in MLB Pitch, Hit & Run, competing in pitching, hitting and running skills. Top performers from local competitions advance to Team Championships hosted by MLB clubs across the country, and C**t earned his spot with the A’s!

From there, the competition gets even tougher: only the top four players in each age division nationwide advance to the Pitch, Hit & Run Finals, held during the MLB World Series. 🏆

We’re excited to see C**t represent Carson Valley on September 12.

⚾️Dear CVLL Families,
The registration page for CVLL Majors division (ages 9-12) Fall Ball is now open. Please register via Carson Valley Little League’s website at www.carsonvalleylittleleague.com and click on Register in the upper right hand side. Deadline to register for Carson Valley Fall Ball is 11:59 p.m. on August 14th.

Please note this is for Majors level only, ages 9-12, with 9-year-olds required to have played a season of Double A.

For all other divisions (tee ball, Minor B, Minor A, AA, Juniors, etc), please consider signing up with Carson City Little League via their registration page here. As mentioned in our email earlier this week, their registration deadline is TONIGHT, Aug 7 at 11:59 p.m.

Who is eligible to play Majors Fall Ball with Carson Valley?
Players with a League Age of 10–12 are eligible (see Little League age chart)

League Age 9 players are also welcome to participate, provided they have completed at least one season at the AA level.

What if my player doesn't qualify for Carson Valley Fall Ball?
Players outside the eligible age group still have an opportunity to play Fall Ball through Carson City Little League. See their registration page here. Deadline is TONIGHT at 11:59 p.m.

What if my child plays other sports?
Many players participate in multiple sports during the fall, and we understand that schedules will sometimes overlap. Practice schedules will be determined by each team's coaches, and game schedules won't be finalized until after teams are formed. While scheduling conflicts are inevitable, we encourage families to communicate early and often with their coaches so everyone can plan accordingly. Fall Ball is intended to provide players with additional development opportunities while recognizing that many athletes have commitments to other activities this time of year.

When do practices begin?
Practices are expected to begin around the third week of August.

When is the season?
Games will begin after Labor Day weekend, with the season concluding by Nevada Day.

Thank you to everyone who completed our Fall Ball interest survey!

Based on the responses, we have enough interest to field at least two Majors Division Fall Ball teams for League Ages 10–12.

Who is eligible to play?

Players with a League Age of 10–12 are eligible (see Little League age chart in link below)

League Age 9 players are also welcome to register, provided they have completed at least one season at the AA level.

⚾️Tournament Play Update:
Last night, CVLL Hooligans trounced Truckee Hooligans 10-1 while CVLL Renegades fell to Reno National Renegades 3-13.

The tournament continues today: Our Renegades play Carson City Renegades at 9:00 am while our Hooligans face off with Reno National Hooligans at noon. 💪
