Join us tonight for the 2026 Candidates Debate hosted by the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, The Record-Courier, and Tahoe Chamber.

Hear directly from candidates for Douglas County Commission District 2 and Assembly District 39 as they discuss issues impacting our community ahead of the June 9 Primary Election.

Additional candidates from other races will also be in attendance with informational tables and available to visit with attendees before and after the debate.

Member Monday Spotlight

We loved celebrating Chamber Member CBP Aerial Arts this past Saturday with a Ribbon Cutting in Gardnerville! Join us in welcoming them to their studio at 1424 Industrial Way, Unit B1, where they’re helping our community soar through aerial arts.

CBP Aerial Arts is owned by Camille, an international professional aerialist and coach with more than 17 years of experience performing and coaching in the USA, Canada, China, and France. She began her training at the Quebec Circus School and has trained with coaches connected to Cirque du Soleil. Camille has also performed internationally and had the opportunity to work with Dolly Parton and Cirque du Soleil artistic director Daniel Cola.
The studio offers a welcoming environment where students ages 7–72 can learn aerial arts through private and small group classes, with opportunities to perform locally or join the Aerial Competition Team.
Come fly in an environment free of judgment.

This weekend is more than an event—it’s an unforgettable experience that brings us back to what makes Carson Valley special: wide open land, working ranches, and the incredible wildlife that shares this place with us.

From birds of prey overhead to cattle on the ground, Eagles & Agriculture is a powerful reminder of the connection between agriculture, conservation, and community stewardship.

We are grateful to our partners, presenters, and everyone who is joining us for a weekend of perspective, inspiration, and connection.
