Attention, VAA 16 breakfast goers!

Because our chili feed is on Jan 1st and our regular breakfast would be on the next Saturday, we are canceling our January “1st Saturday” breakfast. We will resume as normal on the first Saturday in February.

Hope to see you all at noon on January 1 for our annual chili feed. You bring your favorite chili or a side and the chapter supplies the drinks.

We think this is probably about the 30th year or better for this event. It’s always a good one.

It may be winter time, but Chapter 16 is doing things around the airport. One of our latest and last big projects for our hanger is an apron. Today we poured a 55 x 45 apron. As a center medallion, we used a manhole cover from Rockwell Field from 1918. Rockwell Field now referred to as north Island was instrumental in the early days of aviation and especially army air service aviation in the air mail. It came out beautiful I think.
