This week, for a second year, we were excited to announce two local High School graduating seniors as the recipients of the AED Foundation Memorial Scholarship. Established in memory of Alyssa E. Dunn, these scholarships are awarded to students who embody resilience, compassion, and a commitment to creating a brighter future.
Reading this year's essays was both inspiring and deeply moving. Each student shared thoughtful reflections filled with hope, determination, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the world. Their words reminded us that despite life's challenges, there is tremendous strength, promise, and potential in the next generation.
As we celebrate these outstanding students and their achievements, we also honor Alyssa's legacy by investing in young people who are pursuing their dreams and embracing the opportunities ahead of them.
