Because of ALL of YOU 🫵🏻 we were able to raise a little over 22,500.00, making this our Best Year Ever!!! A big shout out to All the people that contributed to make Empty Bowls 2026 a huge success: Nancy Falkner, Beth O’Neil, Natalee Strack, Morgan Rogers, Nicole George, Diana Meisinger, Melissa Prins, Angie Hayes, and Bri Daily -from Daily Bread Home Bakery. THanks 🙏🏻 to all the Artisans that made and donated the bowls : Danny Meisinger, Alex Macias, Brian Horsch, Anne Eggito and a few anonymous donors. Thank All so much for sharing your time, energy, light, and love for such a wonderful cause. I would like to also thank ALL those who came out to the event, and to those who simply made a donation online, “you are ALL such a blessing!”Twelve years ago our daughter Epiphany Meisinger took this on as a community service project that we asked her to do for homeschooling, and it’s been an incredible ride. THank You The HOPE Market for making it so incredibly easy to donate, and for all your organization does for our community.

For many people facing financial hardship, deciding whether to spend limited resources on food or essential personal care products like toothpaste, tampons, shampoo, and soap is an incredibly difficult dilemma. While food is vital for survival, personal care items are crucial for maintaining hygiene, health, and dignity- especially for women who need menstrual products. However, in situations of extreme poverty, individuals often have to choose between these essentials, risking poor hygiene and health issues or hunger and malnutrition. This heartbreaking trade-off, not only affects physical well-being, but also impact self-esteem and mental health, perpetuating a cycle of shame and social exclusion. Despite an efforts for charities and community or organizations to provide free or affordable hygiene products, the reality remains that many are forced into these impossible choices daily. Addressing this issue requires us as a society to recognize personal hygiene is a fundamental human right and work towards ensuring that no one has to sacrifice their health and dignity due to financial hardship. It’s important to remember when we are donating- The HOPE Market is in need of not only food, but personal hygiene products as well. We hope to see YOU 🫵🏻 at Empty Bowls 2026 on Saturday, February 7th from 10-2:30pm.
