USD 231 Nutrition Services has announced their summer lunch program!

Free lunch will be offered to all students ages 1-18 at Wheatridge Middle School & Grand Star Elementary!

Lunch is available from 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Mondays through Thursdays from June 2 - July 24 (closed June 30, July 1-4).

Breakfast will also be offered at Grand Star Elementary from 8:30-9:00 AM during the month of June.

All meals must be consumed on-site.

Exciting changes are coming! We are officially moving into our brand-new space the weekend of June 5th, and we will open our doors for the very first time on Tuesday, June 9th! This expansion is a huge milestone, but a bigger space and more impact mean we need more hands on deck to hit the ground running. We are looking for dedicated, passionate volunteers to join our pantry family—specifically for our vital Grocery Rescue Program!

🛒 What is Grocery Rescue?
Our rescue volunteers are the lifeline between local retailers and our neighbors. We need committed individuals who can reliably help pick up food donations from wonderful partners like:

Price Chopper

Walmart

Dollar General
..and other local stores!

If you have a reliable vehicle, a little bit of free time, and a big heart, this is a direct, hands-on way to fight food insecurity right here at home.
