Today, the members of the American Legion, Reedsport OR Post #62 pay their respects to those who came before us. American Flags will fly throughout Reedsport in remembrance of DDay and those who gave all. May we never forget their sacrifice.

We will gather at the Reedsport Masonic Cemetery to pay our respects to those who served their country and have departed.

Members of the American Legion, Reedsport OR Post #62 placed American flags around town this morning in preparation for the Reedsport Memorial Day Parade.

Please join us for today's events to help us honor and remember those who couldn't make it back and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country's freedom.

On this Armed Forces Day, we appreciate the continued support from our active men and women at the U. S. Coast Guard Station Umpqua River. Thank you for helping us honor and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice by providing the Honor Guard at the Salute In Remembrance Ceremony on Memorial Day.

🇺🇸 With Memorial Day approaching, we are reminded that each fold of a flag holds meaning. The final fold however, the one right before the flag is cradled and handed to a grieving family, says what words cannot. We pause in silence for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We honor their memory, their families, and the weight of every fold that tells their story. We will never forget.
