A couple of days ago, I shared about this kind of persecution in Nigeria, but here it is in the Western Hemisphere too. This doesn't appear to be muslim gangs, just gangs. But in the 2nd quarter of this year, over 1,400 have been killed by gangs. Pray for Haiti. It's a mess. Our church is affiliated with a church association called HFC, and we have several churches in the mountains of Haiti. The mountains might be the safest places for them to live for now. Pray for Christ's Kingdom to advance in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

At least 47 people were killed and 22 others injured when gang members attacked a church sheltering displaced people just outside Haiti s capital, Port-au-Prince, according to the United Nations

Pastor Wes here. I don't talk about it as much as I should, but Christians in Nigeria are under intense persecution and have been for a while. Muslims from their north are coming down and raiding churches and killing lots of people. Often 20 or more at a time. Please pause today and pray for them. Pray for those who are mourning the deaths of loved ones. Pray that the most vulnerable would escape, that they would endure under this, and that their testimony would make a great impact like all persecution in Christian history has done. Pray that their deaths would advance the Kingdom of God. Pray that those who are persecuting them would realize what they are doing is not of the True God. Pray for the peace of Nigeria.
