Summer is in full swing and there’s no place hotter than Sunday at the PMCC (4th Watch) of South Bay! God blessed the South Bay members and guests alike with yet another fiery worship experience as they listened to Bishop Jonathan’s message entitled “The Role of Guile and Purity In Evangelism”. Centered around Matthew 10:16, he explained how the Bible instructs believers to be both “wise as serpents and innocent as doves” in order to save the lost. The red-hot desire to win souls was further amplified by the launching of the “300 on 30” initiative- Bishop Jonathan’s vision to increase to 300 worshippers within the 30th year of the South Bay church. As the band sang the program’s theme song “Great Things” by Phil Wickham, accompanied by the South Bay youth dancers, the members also stood in unity, singing the song with faith and anticipation that God is indeed going to do great things.
After a week’s worth of studying, arts and crafts and other fun activities, the students of the 2019 Vacation Bible School, with the theme “Mighty Fortress”, proudly walked the sanctuary aisles to the stage adorned with caps, gowns and special achievement awards. The students showcased their talents and all they they learned through wonderful performances. The event would not be possible without the dedication and assistance of all the teachers, parents and volunteers. What an awesome Sunday at the PMCC (4th Watch) of South Bay!
