Legends of the Paws Animal Rescue We rescue dogs and cats in bad situations from all areas of the United States. We are a rescue group. We are a 501 non profit. Our founder is Cheri Glankler.

Legends has grown to be a National rescue with members and representatives in all three regions and states. Here is our story. First, Legends of the Paws got its name from Mo the Legendary Chessie of Idaho. Mo was 14 years old and spent nine months out in the Idaho wilderness surviving the worst Idaho winter in recorded history, wolves and near-starvation. In July 2017, she wandered onto a ranch a

nd collapsed. That’s where we come in. Our president, founder Cheri, checked her out and suspected that she was the missing Mo. She took Mo into her home until her people could come and see her — after having their hopes dashed so many times, they were hesitant to hope again. But, they were rewarded because there was no question this was their Mo. She was officially a legend. Mo is home with her family. We have adopted her indomitable spirit for Legends of the Paws. They all have a story to tell. Each dog or cat brought into legends of the Paws is a Legend.

Little two year old Abbie Gail needs a new home. She has been living in a home with two other dogs doing great. However, recently one of the other dogs and her seem to be not getting along. Although her family loves her very much with her funny and silly ways they feel it’s best to find her a new person or family. She is spayed, a lover of all( but her one sibling).
