The Garden Valley Fire Department Auxiliary was pleased to support the Garden Valley Firefighter's Association at their annual 4th of July Golf Tournament and Silent Auction fundraiser.

A special thank you to Terrace Lakes Resort for hosting this annual event and for their continued support of our local fire service community. We appreciate the opportunity to gather in such a beautiful setting for a great cause.

The event brought together community members, local businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for a day of golf, camaraderie, and fundraising to benefit the Association and its ongoing efforts to support our local fire department, EMS and Ambulance.

A special thank you to Mike McPherson and Donnie Adams for organizing this year's event. We would also like to recognize Donnie for her tireless dedication to securing donations throughout the year.

The success of the silent auction is made possible through the generosity of our donors and the countless hours invested behind the scenes to gather, coordinate, and prepare auction items.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, participated, golfed and placed bids.

Your support helps strengthen the Association's ability to support the men and women who serve our community.

While Mother Nature had other plans for our Stars & Stripes River Splash Fundraiser, she certainly didn't dampen the spirit of our amazing community!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, purchased raffle tickets, entered the float contest, stopped by the park, enjoyed a hot dog, or supported us in any way. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support of the Garden Valley Fire Department Auxiliary and the community programs and events we provide throughout the year.

Events like these are about more than fundraising—they're about bringing neighbors together, building relationships, creating memories, and providing opportunities for our community to connect with one another and with the men and women who serve Garden Valley.

A special thank you to the Garden Valley Fire Department & EMS, Idaho Department of Lands Fire, and the U.S. Forest Service Emmett Ranger District- Garden Valley Fire Crew. These agencies work together year-round to protect our community through wildfire response, emergency services, public safety efforts, and prevention programs. We were disheartened to discover that our Stars & Stripes River Splash banner, located near the Davies Bridge intersection, was removed sometime on Friday, June 19th.

As a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Garden Valley Fire Department Auxiliary works hard to support our community and our local emergency services. Events like the Stars & Stripes River Splash take months of planning, and our marketing budget is limited. This banner was purchased with the intention of using it for several years to help promote community events and fundraisers.

We understand there may be circumstances we are unaware of, and we're hoping this was simply a misunderstanding or a prank that got out of hand.

If anyone has seen the banner, knows where it may be, or happens to have it, we would greatly appreciate its return. It can be dropped off anonymously at the Garden Valley Fire Station, Garden Valley Properties, or any local church, and it will find its way back to the Auxiliary. No questions asked.

The Auxiliary exists to support our community, our firefighters, our EMS personnel, and the events that bring Garden Valley together. Acts like this impact resources that ultimately benefit the entire community.

Thank you for keeping an eye out, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the Stars & Stripes River Splash on June 27th. 🇺🇸

Gather your friends, family, neighbors, and fellow patriots, and start dreaming up your red, white, and blue masterpiece! We'll be awarding prizes for the Most Patriotic Float, so don't be afraid to go all out!

The Garden Valley Fire Department Auxiliary will be at the Crouch Farmer's Market this Saturday, June 6th, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM to help you get ready for the big day.
