Lisa was hired by the Post Office in January and is still on her probationary period but she has already shown what it truly means to serve our community.
While delivering mail, Lisa heard what sounded like a faint call for help. She moved closer, lifted the mailbox flap, and heard a customer quietly cry out again. Without hesitation, she rushed across the street to alert a neighbor. Several neighbors came out to help, and one of them had the passcode to the garage.
Inside, they found the 95-year-old resident who had fallen and was unable to move. Thanks to Lisa’s quick thinking and fast action, emergency services were called, and the customer was taken to the hospital.
The family shared that because of Lisa’s rapid response, their loved one lived long enough for them to say their goodbyes, something they are forever grateful for.

Thank you, Lisa, for your compassion, awareness, and bravery. You made a difference!
