We were honored to host an art therapy event at the CWS office as part of the URSI program. Over the past 1.5 years, we have supported Ukrainian families through tutoring, college preparation, donations, educational activities, and community events.

As the URSI grant program comes to a close, we are grateful for the opportunity to create spaces of support, connection, and healing. The event gave students and parents a chance to relax, reconnect, and experience a moment of calm together. 💙💛

Today our CWS Orange County team had the opportunity to attend the Family & Children Health Fair hosted by Supervisor Doug Chaffee’s office.

It was an incredible community-centered event, offering mobile eye and dental services, fresh fruits and vegetables, on-the-spot enrollment in social services, and so many vital resources for families.💕

It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends and build new connections. We are deeply grateful to Supervisor Doug Chaffee and Al Jabbar, along with the many partners who made this possible.

Events like these are a powerful reminder of what collaboration can achieve, bringing services directly to the community and ensuring families feel supported, seen, and cared for. 💙

Join us on May 17 in Fullerton for our CROP Hunger Walk. 🩵

There’s something powerful about coming together as a community for a shared purpose, and the CROP Hunger Walk is a beautiful example of that. It’s not just about raising funds, it’s about showing up for one another, building connection, and reminding ourselves that small acts of care can create meaningful change.

We had a special Easter gathering at the CWS OC office for Ukrainian children and families.🌸🌸

It was a simple, warm evening, but full of meaning. Kids were running around, laughing, painting, searching for eggs, and just being kids. And honestly, this is something that matters the most right now 🐰💕

For many families, this is not just about Easter. It’s about creating a space where there is safety, community, and a feeling of home, even when home is far away.

We shared time together, small traditions, and moments that remind us that connection still exists-even in a new country🩵
