U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is reportedly planning for the United States military to end its relationship with Scouting America, arguing that they have strayed from its historic purpose to “cultivate masculine values,” describing it as “genderless” and criticizing its embrace of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

He added that the organization once endorsed by President Theodore Roosevelt “no longer supports the future of American boys,” and is no longer a meritocracy that holds members accountable to meet high standards.

Trail Life USA CEO Mark Hancock commented, “Challenge is the testing ground of manliness—the place where lessons of faith and courage become habits of perseverance. If we fail this generation, it won't be because we over-challenged them. It will be because we under-challenged them.”

Rest in Peace Sir!! Thank You for all You did for Our Country!!

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of John Kinsel Sr., a beloved Navajo elder and one of the last voices of the legendary Code Talkers. At 107 years old, he departs this world leaving behind a legacy carved in courage and carried on the sacred breath of his language. From Bougainville to Guam to Iwo Jima, he served from 1942 to 1946 as a United States Marine, sending messages the enemy could never break — messages that saved lives, shifted battles, and helped shape the very outcome of World War II. His words, spoken in Navajo, became a shield for thousands and a lifeline in the darkest hours of war. 🕊️🇺🇸
