2026 Boat Parade shirts are now on sale! You can find them at Lee’s Inlet Apothecary, Conway National Bank in Murrells Inlet and Garden City Realty. They are $10 and proceeds benefit Murrells Inlet Boy Scout Troop 396. As of right now, we cannot ship or do online sales, sorry!

We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Murrells Inlet Boat Parade will start at 10am on Saturday, July 4th! And big news this year- we're bringing back the Best Decorated Boat awards!! There will be trophies for First, Second, Third Place and Honorable Mention so get those ideas cooking because we want to see your best theme effort! The t-shirts are being printed this week and we will announce where they can be purchased as soon as they're ready!

We are pleased to reveal 2026's MI Boat Parade T-shirt Design! Congratulations to Alex Sanders, who we felt really captured the fun and spirit of the Inlet in July! We had lots of great submissions and we thank everyone who took the time to create such lovely designs! Stay tuned, we will soon be updating everyone on the time of the parade and where to purchase shirts as well as fun new details!

Tomorrow (March 31st) is the last day to get your design submission in for the Murrells Inlet Boat Parade! The theme is Floating on Freedom: Celebrating 250 Years and we are looking for someone to design the parade t-shirt! The chosen design will be featured on the 2026 shirts, with all proceeds going to Boy Scout Troop 396 here in Murrells. If your design is picked you will of course get your own shirt as well as a framed print of the design! You may submit your design to [email protected], we look forward to seeing your designs!

Today’s the day — the 42nd Annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade sets sail at 2:00 p.m., starting from Garden City Point and cruising through the Inlet! 🇺🇸🚤

This year’s theme: Stars, Stripes, and Saltwater Vibes 🌊
Let’s celebrate big—deck out the docks, boats, and boardwalk in red, white, and blue!

📍 Best viewing spots:
✔️ Murrells Inlet MarshWalk
✔️ Belin United Methodist Church
✔️ Morse Park Landing

⚠️ Boaters: High tide rolls in after 5 p.m., so be mindful of shallow areas early in the route.

🚫 A note to boat and dock decorators and boat parade participants: Please skip any decorations or activities that involve throwing things into the water—including water balloons. They pollute our beautiful Inlet and can harm local wildlife. Let’s keep the water clean, the route safe, and the celebration respectful for all. 🌎✨

⚠️ Reminder: High tide isn’t until after 5 p.m., so boaters should be mindful of water depth when navigating the route.
