Fête Créole 2026 is happening!

One night… One mission: The Gaskov Clergé Foundation is bringing together the community for an evening of culture, celebration, and purpose.

For 27 years, GCF has been quietly doing the work. 120,000 medical visits delivered at Klinik Fonfrèd near Les Cayes. Over 3,000 students supported through scholarships. Communities served that most institutions have forgotten. Events like Fête Créole is how we fund that work. And this year, it matters more than ever.

Shhhhh. 🤫 We are honoring two special icons whose contributions to our culture and our community have been extraordinary. We are planning a night that matches their legacy. That is all we are saying for now.

La Fondation Gaskov Clergé (GCF) exprime sa profonde tristesse suite à la disparition prématurée de l’Ingénieur Frantz Arthur Mauvais, décédé tragiquement dans un accident de la circulation.

La Fondation garde le souvenir d’un sudiste passionné et d’un collaborateur engagé avec qui elle a eu l’occasion de travailler dans le cadre des festivités scolaires marquant la célébration de la Fête du Drapeau national du 18 mai, activités auxquelles GCF avait apporté son soutien financier.

Face à cette perte douloureuse, la Fondation invite les autorités responsables à prendre enfin les mesures nécessaires afin de réduire les tragédies de la circulation routière, trop souvent évitables et pourtant répétitives dans notre région et dans notre ville.

La Fondation Gaskov Clergé adresse ses sincères condoléances à la famille de Frantz Arthur Mauvais, à ses proches, à ses amis ainsi qu’à tous ceux que ce départ inattendu afflige profondément.
