What does EAC Network’s Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) Program actually do?

TASC works with individuals involved in the justice system to address substance use and other barriers that can make it difficult to move forward. Through personalized treatment planning, counseling, case management, and connections to community resources, individuals can receive support that meets them where they are.

EAC Network was proud to join the Health & Welfare Council of Long Island (HWCLI) for its 2026 Endless Summer Soirée!

The annual fundraising gala brings together nonprofit leaders, business leaders, advocates, and community partners to celebrate those working to address challenges across Long Island and build stronger communities.

The evening was especially meaningful as we continue to strengthen our connection with the Health Empowerment Alliance of Long Island (HEALI), led by HWCLI, which works closely with EAC Network’s Social Care Network program. Through these partnerships, we’re helping connect individuals and families to the resources and services they need.

At New Path Treatment Center, individuals working toward recovery have access to a safe, supportive environment where they can take meaningful steps toward a healthier future.

For Anthony, that support has helped him find community, pursue recovery coaching, and work toward becoming a Drug and Alcohol Counselor himself, turning his own experiences into a desire to help others. 🚨 3 out of 4 car seats are installed incorrectly. That’s not just a number; that’s a risk we can’t afford to ignore.

On October 29, 2026, EAC Network is teaming up with Legislator James Kennedy and Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joe Saladino to host a free child car seat inspection and installation event as part of our Safe Start program, an initiative dedicated to protecting our youngest passengers by giving parents the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need.

Every properly installed car seat is a step toward a safer future. Join us at Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa Park, NY and take that step with us. Chris Mistron, formerly of the Nassau County Traffic Safety Board and now with EAC Network, will be on-site to ensure your child's seat is safe, secure, and up to standard.

Join EAC Network on March 11, 2027, for our annual Cohalan Cares for Kids event. The Children's Center at Cohalan Court Complex provides free, safe, and nurturing childcare for children while their parents and caregivers attend to court-related matters, offering families peace of mind during a difficult time.
