Everyone knows someone affected by su***de. Knowing what to do in a moment of crisis can save a life.

Join us on September 8 for our second Su***de Awareness & Discussion Workshop of the year to learn how to recognize su***de warning signs, respond in a crisis, and support healing.

Through relevant data, personal stories, and guest speakers, we’ll explore the veteran su***de crisis, community response, and pathways to healing and renewed purpose.

What a night at the ballpark on Friday!

A huge thank you to the Boise Hawks and Western Heating, Air Conditioning, Electrical, & Plumbing for making Military Appreciation Night such a special experience for our veterans!

Thanks to your partnership and the incredible jersey auction, more than $8,000 was raised to support Wyakin Veterans. Every bid helps provide veterans with the education, mentorship, and support they need to build meaningful careers after service.

Our veterans also got to throw out the first pitch and join the team for batting practice as officially signed players for the day!

And to top it all off, the Hawks took home a close game with a walk-off win! What a way to end the night!

Congratulations to everyone who took home a jersey from the auction! Every jersey represents more than a great piece of Hawks history — each bid helps a veteran move forward.

Thank you, Boise Hawks and Western Heating & Air, for creating such a fun and memorable experience for our veterans and for standing behind their transition to civilian careers.

The Instant Gratification Fun Run, hosted by Wyakin Co-Founder and Broadside Cartoonist, Jeff Bacon, is coming Saturday, September 12, and it’s shaping up to be one heck of an event!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Wyakin Family BBQ! What an incredible turnout!

One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our veterans connecting with one another, catching up with mentors, and introducing their families to our Wyakin community. It was especially fun watching so many kids laughing, playing, and enjoying the evening together.

Events like this remind us that Wyakin is more than a program, it's a community. Thank you to everyone who came, shared a meal, made new connections, and helped make the night so special. We can't wait to see you at the next one!
