The Finney and Scott County 4-H pages will not be shut down for the remainder of the current 4-H year so that families are able to access information for year-end record books and pin apps.

A future in veterinary medicine starts with curiosity 🩺💜
Vet Med ROCKS Summer Camp returns July 27–29, 2026, at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences, participants will explore what a future in veterinary medicine can look like.

Camp sessions by age group:
• Monday, July 27 — High school participants (entering grades 9–12) and college participants
• Tuesday, July 28 — Middle school participants (entering grades 6–8)
• Wednesday, July 29 — Grade school participants (entering grades 3–5)

4-H Cloverbud Club met last night for some veggie fun! 4-H Ambassadors Hailey and Abby taught about different veggies with the book Tops and Bottoms, had different veggies available for creating process art, shared worms and dirt snack and closed the evening with a game.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT DEADLINE - MAY 15TH

The 4-H Program Development Committee (PDC), an advisory group to the district's 4-H Program, has developed a program needs assessment survey for all community members and 4-H families/volunteers enrolled within the district 4-H Program to assess what is needed by our community. This survey is 10 questions in length and should take no more than 15mins to complete.

The 4-H PDC is also interested in hearing from non-member teens and 4-H teen members on how the program is specifically meeting their needs. As such, a similar needs assessment survey for teens (13 years of age and above) may be found at:

Please share with your teen and have them have a voice in the direction of the West Plains 4-H Program.

We ask that all surveys be completed no later than May 15, 2026.
