Boneyard Theatre is a new performing arts project in Southern Humboldt, presented by and in partnership with Redwood Playhouse. Every Sunday 2pm, from September 20th until Halloween, you can attend our "Sunday! Matinee! Open Mic! Cabaret!" at the Redwood Playhouse, and participate as an audience member or a performer, as we create on-the-spot variety theatre together. Participation in the arts leads to lower crime, increased revenue for local businesses, and helps create a community that can solve problems and bring their visions to life, according to studies conducted Americans for the Arts. That's why Boneyard Theatre has made programming like "Sunday! Matinee! Open Mic! Cabaret!" (SMOMC) a weekly event that's free to the public. Learn how you can get involved at boneyardtheatre.com.

Improv workshop #2 Sunday August 23rd 6-8:30pm at the Redwood Playhouse.
This free, fun, playful event is open to all.
The improv concept is not performance focused.
Our first session focused on spontaneous movement, and interpretation of emotion.

The intention of staying fully in the moment while responding to unpredictable situations can rewire preconceptions and help quiet your inner critic. Playing with unpredictability helps train an acceptance of reality, because you never know what direction an interaction will take!

The Redwood Playhouse is Sponsoring a special series of workshops to play with the craft of improvisational theatre.
Join others to explore and develop the techniques of improv.

Held once a month on Sunday evenings.
