Southern Humboldt is full of fun, quirky adventures — and if you’ve never driven through a massive redwood tree, it’s time to change that! 🚗🌲

Located along the Avenue of the Giants in Myers Flat, the Shrine Drive-Thru Tree has been welcoming travelers since the days of Model Ts. Drive through the living redwood, cruise over a fallen log, explore the two-story treehouse and walk-through stump, then stop by the gift shop for a few redwood treasures.

It’s classic Redwood Country — and one of those stops you just have to experience at least once.
