MEET THE 2025 COLON CAMPERS! 🏕️ ✨ 💙

Colon Camp isn’t your average retreat. It’s a time where young colore**al cancer survivors come together to bond, heal, and be celebrated exactly as they are.

We’re excited to introduce this year’s group of campers and we are honored to witness their growth throughout this transformative experience. From laughs around the fire to unfiltered conversations, camp is where the tough stuff is met with connection and understanding.

Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share more!

Campers, 64 days until camp!😉

Scars... proof you’ve been through some tough sh*t. Literally. Whether you wear them with pride, keep them hidden, or somewhere in between – they all tell a story of strength and the fight you’ve faced.

If you know a family who could benefit from this support, encourage them to apply today. Let’s bring a little joy and relief into their lives. Apply through the link in our bio. Applications close August 31.

Another opportunity for our Colon Clubbies:
On behalf of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), we invite your participation in a focus group aimed at improving medical lab reports with a colore**al cancer diagnosis. As it becomes easier to access to your health information on your phones or computers, it’s ever more important that the information provided be clear and understandable. The CAP wants to know how we can improve pathology reports, the document describing your biopsy results, for patients. We know they can often be difficult to understand and we want to make them better for future colore**al cancer patients.
We are looking for 6-7 participants to join a one-hour focus group discussing your experience with your pathology report. Topics may include but are not limited to: the experience of receiving the report; your opinion about how understandable the report was; potential improved versions of the report.
You are eligible to participate in the focus group if you have had a diagnosis of colon or re**al cancer any time within the past 15 years and saw at least one pathology report at any point during your diagnosis or treatment. The focus group will be conducted via a Zoom link we will send you; you will need a computer with internet access, a microphone, and ideally a we**am. We will send you a gift card as a token of appreciation for your time in the focus group.
Below is a link to a form to complete if you are interested in participating in a focus group. Please complete the form by Friday October 27th.
