The Pumpkin Fund healing pets - helping hearts
Our motto - Together we CAN make a difference! A 501(c)3 public charit He was rescued at 4 weeks old from a sad situation.

For all who do not know the story of Pumpkin - Pumpkin is the little orange kitten in our profile picture. Pumpkin has hydrocephalus (water on the brain). It is a congenital defect. Pumpkin became extremely ill in April of 2010 and was not expected to survive. Against all odds our little miracle baby is still here with us and doing great! The hardest part of Pumpklin's illness however was not the

expense involved - it was the people we met who had no choice but to choose euthanasia for their beloved pet because the cost of treatment was beyond their abilities. The Pumpkin Fund was formed in Pumpkin's honor with the hope that we can someday spare others from facing that same difficult decision.

Friends - we have notified amazonsmile that we are no longer accepting donations and are trying to reach igive to do the same (they are impossible to reach). If you have us listed on either of these donation sites please change it asap. We suggest donating to Orange Street Cats or Whiskers Animal Benevolent League - both are local and both have been fabulous friends to us - thanks and God Bless

Happy 7th Birthday to our miracle baby - our Pumpkin

Dear friends, it is with deep sadness that we inform you all that we are disbanding the organization. This is effective immediately. For those who have sent donations recently those are being forwarded to Burnt Hills Veterinary for our last "save". They will benefit a kitty who fell out a window of her elderly owners apartment and broke her leg. Sadly, we do not have enough for her entire bill, so if you would like to help please call Charlene at 518-399-5213. We will be leaving this page up until September for anyone who would like to save photos of their pets. We want all of you to know how very much we have appreciated your support over this last five and a half years. Together we HAVE made a difference! Thank you all and God Bless

HF friends - please keep an eye out for this kitty

This is Abbie rose. She got out sometime Sunday night into Monday morning and still have not found her. She is a very loving cat and we are very worried about her as she is declawed and can't defend herself being outside. Last seen on Martindale in Hudson falls

Ok Friends - it has now been a year since Cathy Cloutier at the SPCA of Upstate NY took our cats (in case you don't know the story - our foster disappeared and left our cats with people we didn't know who were then arrested for animal cruelty) anyway, after numerous letters from an attorney and pleas, calls, etc she has NEVER returned our animals! Yet, now she has advised someone else to sue Warren Co SPCA to get their animal back - hmmmmmm....... 2 faced? double standard? PLEASE share this and let the world know what she is REALLY like - an EVIL LIAR!!!! (Please make sure to copy and paste this as well - it doesn't share with the post - thanks!)

Friends - these 4 cats were taken from us and we have spent the last 4 months trying to find out where they are and/or what happened to them - here are the facts as we know them:
*These 4 cats were in the care of a foster - that foster "disappeared" on us right after Easter 2015. No one was able to reach her - she moved, would not return messages via FB or text and would not return phone calls.
* We finally heard from this foster in early May - she assured us the cats were ok - we demanded they be returned to us immediately - the foster was supposed to produce the cats on 5/10 - this did not happen
* we continued to try to reach this foster
* 5/15/15 we learned our cats had been left in the care of the fosters ex boyfriend and that he and his mother were being charged with cruelty to animals - we spoke to the sheriff's deputy that night and told him we wanted to come get our animals - he told us they had to be evaluated by animal control and we could call the SPCA the next day
* we called and got the recorded message
* over the next few weeks we attempted to speak to several people involved in this case.
* ADA Rathbun and the SPCA have been refusing to give us our animals since - we are not even sure if the SPCA has them - we do know they took 8 cats from the ex boyfriends house
* we have spent $2500 on an attorney (not donated money - paid personally by a board member) and the attorney has dropped us because we cannot pay more
*When we got Sola back (see photos for story) the woman told us that Heather Kline adopted her out to her and that she had several posted for adoption - perhaps these are ours?
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Please share their photos - if they are adopted we just want to meet the families and give them the past veterinary records
If they are at the SPCA please call them and voice your displeasure - please support us in getting them back! Remember, together we CAN make a difference! God Bless!
