SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION 2026
Registration opens today. To register, contact Donna Merten at [email protected]. Please provide the name of the athlete, preferred contact phone number and email address.
You will receive an email response within three days confirming registration. Please do not inquire before then. Registrations are taken on a first come first served basis and you will not lose your place in line.
Registration will close on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
REMEMBER:
Athletes must have a current medical on file
All uniforms must be turned in
Athletes MUST attend a minimum number of practice sessions, and any scheduled qualifiers, in order to be eligible to participate in the Summer Games.
Athletes may ONLY sign up for one sport, with the exception of pickleball. Athletes may register for pickleball in addition to swimming, track and field or softball. If there are slots open after registration closes, a notice will go out for anyone who wants to practice in a second sport.
Swimming
Must be able to swim independently 25 meters (82 feet)
First practice: Friday, March 20, 2026
Session 1: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Session 2: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Session 3: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Limited to the first 60 athletes.
All practice sessions will start at the Pasadena YMCA and will transition to Arundel Swim Center in Annapolis later in the season.
Last practice for those not competing in swimming at Summer Games is April 24, 2026.
Last practice for those competing in swimming at Towson is June 5, 2026.
First qualifier: Naval Academy Date: April 25, 2026

Summer Games at Towson University June 12 -14, 2026

Softball
Freedom Field in Pasadena is under renovation and not available for SOAA softball this season. We are currently searching for an alternative location. All softball registrants will be notified of practice days and location as soon as that information is available.
