is a 501 (c ) (3) charitable organization founded by Gary Heldt, Jr., owner of Small Business Advisors, and Mike Thomas, owner of Lighthouse Insurance Services. This charity tournament was started as a way to give back to their community. Each year, a local child suffering from a serious illness and in need of financial support is chosen as the beneficiary. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to donate almost $500,000.00 to local families in need.

RAIN OR SHINE! We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow at Crofton Country Club for our Annual For the Kids, Inc. Tournament. Please remember a few important details:
1. Registration begins at 8 am | Shotgun Start at 9 am
2. Bring a baby item donation (diapers, wipes, formula, etc.)
3. Get Ready for Raffle Prizes, Door Prizes and On Course FUN! We accept Cash or Venmo

2026 For the Kids, Inc. Tournament Beneficiary Announcement:
Please meet Joey Stanger, 10-year little guy from Davidsonville, MD. Joey has Osteosarcoma, which is a cancer that attacks young bones and tends to be very aggressive. After a left leg amputation above the knee, Joey continues to undergo chemo treatments. Joey is currently in need of around the clock treatment, which has resulted in Joey's mom having to quit her job. Let's rally together on August 3rd to support the Joey and the Stanger family! Donations, Sponsors and Raffle Prizes are still in need.

Our For the Kids, Inc. community has shown their support in full force once again as our 2026 FTK Tournament on August 3rd is SOLD OUT! We could still use support in the way of door prizes (especially if they are sporting event tickets or swag - our group loves these items!), raffle giveaways and goody bag items for our golfers.
